Li Auto Reports August Deliveries of 37,679 Units, New MEGA to Launch September 2

On September 1, 2026, Li Auto announced August deliveries of 37,679 new vehicles, representing a 32.1% year-on-year increase and 23.7% month-on-month growth. The company's cumulative deliveries have exceeded 1.8 million units. Li Auto also announced that the new-generation MEGA will officially launch on September 2, with the i9 model making its appearance in September and the company initiating sales in the Middle East market. CEO Li Xiang stated on social media that while SUVs may be more commercially viable in the short term, MPVs will become the ultimate form of family vehicles, especially as L3 and L4 autonomous driving capabilities mature and reduce the importance of driving dynamics in favor of interior space and comfort.
