On October 24, Zhiyuan's Expedition A3 humanoid robots staged a Guinness World Record challenge at the Yellow River International Convention and Exhibition Center in Jinan, successfully setting the record for "most humanoid robots dancing simultaneously," the Daily Economic News reported on October 26.
110 production-version full-size Expedition A3 humanoids danced in sync, completing collective choreography, wave-form formation changes and a countdown number pattern, with a Guinness adjudicator on site to witness and issue the official certificate.
Unlike past demos focused on single-robot stunts, Zhiyuan emphasized multi-robot cluster coordination — directly valuable for quickly monetizable scenarios such as cultural-tourism performances and park patrols. Analysts cautioned, however, that a one-time indoor success does not yet prove long-term reliable operation in outdoor or production-line environments; turning a world record into sustained orders still needs longer validation.
The feat highlights China's rapid progress in humanoid-robot mass production and swarm coordination, a frontier where domestic players are racing to commercialize.
