As the 32nd China Yiwu International Small Commodity Fair (October 21-24) opened, Yiwu Customs unveiled a support package to help exhibitors "sell to the world." The measures combine stable-clearance, better-service and brand-protection steps - an on-site one-stop service desk for customs clearance and intellectual-property protection, paperless and remote clearance, and faster departure-tax-refund verification for the more than 10,000 foreign buyers expected at the event.
For brand protection, customs officers are stationed at the venue to provide joint, multi-department IP consultation, so exhibitors can resolve issues on the spot rather than shuttling between government departments and ports. The goal is "handle business without leaving the hall, zero-distance service."
On logistics, the customs office is promoting fully paperless declaration with remote review and accelerating the market-procurement online declaration platform, easing export formalities for the cosmetics clusters concentrated in Yiwu. For people flow, dedicated staff handle commodity verification and departure-tax-refund for overseas buyers, with "small-amount sampling" and paperless refund models that cut manual steps and make shopping and refunds smoother for foreign merchants.
