On November 5, BYD and vivo formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shenzhen. The two sides will deepen coordination across AI cross-device fusion, car-phone interconnection, digital car keys and on-board fast charging.
Car-phone interconnection has already served nearly 5 million vehicles, and the partnership aims to upgrade that link from 'connection' to 'fusion,' exploring technologies such as AI cross-end fusion and phone agents empowering the cockpit. The move intensifies competition for the connected-car entry point as smartphone makers and automakers move from peripheral linking toward AI-driven cross-device ecosystems.
