China's National Energy Administration published a list of high-value 'AI+' energy scenario pilot projects, planning to include 93 initiatives — such as intelligent decision-making for main transformer equipment maintenance — covering core energy fields including power transformation, wind, photovoltaic and storage.
The move marks the entry of AI-energy integration into a phase of scaled, real-world deployment. On the same day, a vice premier called for stronger financial support and factor guarantees for artificial intelligence and computing-network construction, reinforcing the policy signal that AI's most solid landing scenes are often written into ministries' pilot lists.
