At the ninth China International Import Expo, which opened November 5 in Shanghai, Zhejiang organized more than 40,000 purchasing visitors, with Yiwu accounting for about 10%, among the highest in the province. Yiwu Customs data show that in the first three quarters of 2026, Yiwu's cross-border e-commerce import lists and value rose 25.1% and 28.18% year on year respectively.
Yiwu sent 4,441 buyers this year, with eight companies exhibiting independently through overseas resources. The "buying from the world" business is becoming a new growth engine: one local firm, Gewu Trade, first met Japan's CCOKIO at a previous CIIE and has since grown its annual signing with the brand to 100 million US dollars, jointly developing products for Chinese consumers.
