The "Light of Internet" expo of the 2026 World Internet Conference, held November 2-5 in Wuzhen, gathered 671 enterprises and institutions from 54 countries and regions, People's Daily reported on November 6. Under the theme "Smart Connection, Smart Future," AI Plus was the focus.
Visitors tried a brain-controlled wheelchair that moves by thought, and watched two embodied robots spar with punches and spinning kicks. At the Tencent booth, "WorkBuddy - an all-scenario workplace AI agent workbench" drew crowds, generating PPTs, Excel formulas and mind maps and polishing documents. China Mobile showed its "Mobile Tiangong" industrial internet platform, which covers 41 industrial categories, serves over 320,000 enterprises and has landed more than 50,000 5G-plus industrial cases.
