The ninth China International Import Expo opened on November 5 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Its automobile and smart-mobility section gathered more than 40 companies and over 80 vehicles, spanning complete cars, components, the aftermarket and multi-modal transport.
The zone's supplier 'circle of friends' kept expanding — from power batteries to automotive high-strength steel, new-energy electrical steel, in-vehicle fiber optics and domain controllers — accelerating completion of the chain from base materials and core parts to complete vehicles and low-altitude mobility. Observers note this year's CIIE auto pavilion reflects not convergence on a single technology route but a layered, deepening picture of how global firms do business in China.
