Changan Automobile reported October sales of 233,800 vehicles, with both its new-energy and overseas businesses posting double-digit growth.
Overseas sales reached 102,400 units, up 77.3% year on year and 8.8% month on month. New-energy vehicle sales came in at 140,500 units, up 18% year on year and 17.4% month on month.
The dual expansion underscores how Chinese automakers are increasingly relying on electrification and globalization as parallel growth engines as the domestic market matures.
