Geely Auto reported on November 3 a strong third quarter, with Q3 revenue of 99 billion yuan (up 10% year on year) and core attributable net profit of 5.21 billion yuan (up 32%), while gross margin rose to 18%. October sales reached 310,183 units — the eighth straight month of sequential and year-on-year growth.
New-energy vehicles surpassed 200,000 for the first time in a single month, with penetration hitting 69.31%, and overseas sales reached 107,153 units, up 158%. Zeekr reached its annual target ahead of schedule, Galaxy consolidated its position in the NEV first tier, and China Star held the gasoline base, as multi-brand, multi-powertrain and global coordination paid off.
Management said the 'smart charging + going global + new products' strategy under the 'One Geely' system is building a long-term moat as the industry shifts from scale competition to system-led resilience, with the fourth quarter expected to be even stronger.
