Yiwu's vitality lies not only in its vast number of enterprises but in an increasingly complete cross-border service ecosystem grown around them, China County Economy News reported on November 2. The Yiwu Cross-Border E-Commerce Association, founded in 2023, now has more than 360 member units with combined annual sales exceeding 100 billion yuan.
The association integrates platforms, supply chains, logistics, overseas warehouses, intellectual property and brand-going-global resources, and has partnered with Amazon, Mercado Libre and other mainstream platforms to lower the barrier for enterprises going abroad. Zhengpai Cross-Border, a local service provider, has served more than 10,000 enterprises and trained over 150,000 people since 2019, cooperating with more than 50 cross-border platforms.
The Yiwu International Land Port E-Commerce City has gathered over 900 upstream-and-downstream e-commerce firms, including more than 200 cross-border enterprises and over 7,000 resident employees, forming a full-chain ecosystem covering sourcing, operations, live-streaming, warehousing and fulfillment.
