On September 16, Eastmoney reported that A-share AI-compute stocks strengthened ahead of Huawei Connect 2026 (September 17–19 in Shanghai). The Ascend AI Industry Summit will spotlight the new-generation Ascend super-node and open-source ecosystem; Huawei said the Ascend 950 super-node will soon launch for large data centers, trillion-parameter model training and high-concurrency inference, with the 950DT variant expected to ship from Q4 2026.
Multiple overseas media reported that DeepSeek plans to procure at least 160,000 Ascend 950DT AI accelerators from Huawei for a new large data center in Inner Mongolia, mainly for inference. On the policy front, MIIT and the NDRC jointly issued the "15th Five-Year Plan for Electronic Information Manufacturing," calling for an advanced-computing ecosystem spanning in-memory computing, quantum computing, optical computing and brain-inspired computing.
Brokers said the Ascend 950 super-node may reveal more commercial details at the conference; Cambricon rose over 5% on the day as the sector's dense catalyst window continues.
