At the 2026 China Economic and Social Forum in Hangzhou on September 15 (theme: "Improving Global Governance, Toward a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind"), AI was a高频 keyword. Geely Holding chairman Li Shufu said cars are evolving from mere transport into mobile smart terminals and energy-network nodes; in March Geely deepened cooperation with Nvidia across physical AI, enterprise AI and industrial AI for autonomous driving, smart cockpit and manufacturing.
Zhejiang now ranks among the national leaders in comprehensive AI development: 210 typical "AI+" application scenarios, six national AI application pilot bases, and 38 enterprises in the national "excellent-grade" smart-factory list plus two in the "leading-grade" cultivation list. At the Runze intelligent-compute center in Pinghu (Jiaxing), phase three is under construction as part of the national integrated compute-network hub's 10,000-card cluster, meeting real-time compute demand from the Yangtze River Delta.
Zhejiang's operational compute has reached 194 EFLOPS with intelligent-compute share above 96%, built around cores in Hangzhou and Jiaxing plus multi-point support from Ningbo, Wenzhou, Taizhou and Jinhua. With the "Hangzhou Six Little Dragons" rising and models like Qianwen and DeepSeek joining the global first tier, Zhejiang's AI ecosystem has taken shape.
