Qianlong reported on September 14 that Yiwu's annual winter-warmth procurement season is wrapping up. YiwuGo platform big data show that over the past 30 days, search interest in core categories such as "thermal apparel" and "leggings" kept climbing; while domestic demand rises with autumn cooling, overseas buyers began stocking as early as May.
Since May, European Chinese buyers have concentrated orders at Jianzhen scarf stores for classic polar-fleece and austrian-fleece scarves; European, South American and border-trade markets favor plain black, white, grey and brown, while Korea prefers deep tones. A loyal scarf client's peak-season annual purchase can reach 700,000–800,000 yuan.
Lingdong Knitting, focused on mid-to-high-end knit gloves for over two decades, saw its half-fleece gloves become a breakout hit—over 100,000 pairs sold in the past five months, with standout demand from Spain and single clients purchasing up to 200,000 yuan annually. Qunxin earmuffs and scarves pursued a differentiated niche, illustrating how Yiwu's upstream merchants iterate weekly to stay ahead.
