Horizon Robotics founder Yu Kai announced that the 15 millionth Journey chip will debut on FAW-Volkswagen's new ID. AURA T6, with the HSD V2.1 system launching full-scene automated parking and a top NEV maker's mass production later this year—cumulative Journey-family output has surpassed 15 million, with one in three intelligent-driving cars in China using Horizon chips.
Most notably, Hong Kong's first publicly open megawatt charging station—Xpeng's global-first X-Energy site, built with Halo—entered operation on September 15. With four bays (one megawatt-class), 1,000 kW peak output, 1,000 A current and a self-developed storage system needing only ≤240 kW of grid capacity, it offers dense cities a new high-power replenishment solution without major grid upgrades.
