A September 15 People's Daily piece (carried by NetEase) described how the intelligent economy is gaining momentum. Baidu AI Cloud's full-stack AI capability supports agents that run stably in real tasks: its financial-analysis model auto-collects multi-source data, checks financial-report consistency, and flags anomalies, compressing analysis from hours or days to minutes. Over 11 years the platform has served many top internet firms, 80% of central SOEs and numerous SMEs.
In the auto sector, Baidu AI Cloud built intelligent-compute bases for BAIC and others, supporting autonomous-driving model training and inference; in 2025 it helped deliver over 20 million L2 assisted-driving vehicles. At the World Robot Conference, a humanoid robot from the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center ran the 100m in 8.64 seconds, and Baidu serves 50-plus embodied-intelligence firms including AgiBot and Unitree.
From bottom-layer compute to upper-layer applications, China's AI is moving from labs to production lines and daily life, letting more people share the dividends of artificial intelligence.
