On September 15, The Paper reported that Zhejiang maritime authorities have fully launched an upgraded on-site service at Yiwu's "dry port" (the Sixth Port Area), focusing on safe and efficient outbound shipment of inland dangerous goods, to realize "factory-to-sea" delivery.
The upgrade introduces "same-box same-inspection" plus "tolerance report": maritime inspection is moved to the factory packing site, completing checks without changing or opening boxes, while creditworthy firms can move first and supplement documents later. A "one-enterprise-one-file" mechanism gives key firms dedicated support on staffing, slot booking and transport organization.
Building on services for EVs, lithium batteries and photovoltaic modules, the authority is studying tailored solutions for Yiwu's high-volume small commodities such as cosmetics and nail polish, and tracking new goods like nickel-hydrogen storage batteries. A "one-document, one-box" cross-region mutual recognition with sister maritime bureaus cuts repeated unpacking and transit storage.
The 2026 target is 100% coverage of key provincial enterprises and over 50% coverage of other coastal-city firms, lowering the full-chain cost of Yiwu's "new three items" going global.
