Jinhua, home to Yiwu — the 'world's small commodities capital' — and Yongkang, 'China's hardware capital,' is building a 'common-prosperity policing' framework to support local enterprises expanding overseas, the People's Public Security News reported on September 14.
The entry-exit administration has formed a 'Bayu Going-Global Navigators' team to map out anchor enterprises, distinctive industries and emerging sectors, providing consulting, expedited processing and 'green channel' services for overseas exhibitions, cross-border employment and overseas talent recruitment. Since the start of the year, the commercial service window at Yiwu's Global Digital Trade Center alone has served more than 2,000 people.
Leveraging an international trade comprehensive service and economic-crime early-warning platform, Yiwu police built a closed-loop system integrating early warning, credit governance, crime fighting and fund recovery. It has prevented and resolved 436 major contract-fraud cases, recovering 710 million yuan, and through credit governance covering more than 26,000 foreign-trade entities, pushed 504 firms to pay 110 million yuan in overdue payments, benefiting 1,263 market operators.
In Yongkang, a 'corporate physical check-up' model has screened more than 700 firms, issued 27 risk alerts and fixed over 50 loopholes. Meanwhile, the China-Europe 'Yixinou' freight trains — radiating to more than 160 cities in over 50 countries — have run more than 17,000 trips with zero incidents at the origin station.
