As September arrives, the annual winter warm-goods stocking season in Yiwu is quietly drawing to a close, with source merchants on the Yiwugou platform having completed a full-cycle layout, Rizhao News Network reported on September 14.
Merchants began R&D and capacity preparation early in the year, opened the cross-border procurement peak in May, rode months of production and sales activity, and are now winding down the core annual stocking cycle in early autumn. Remaining replenishment orders continue to flow, while merchants have already started R&D and capacity planning for next year's new styles.
Yiwugou platform big data shows search heat for core categories such as 'warm clothing' and 'leggings' has kept climbing over the past 30 days. Overseas buyers moved even earlier — European overseas-Chinese purchasers began concentrated stocking at the Jianzhen scarf store from May, with classic polar-fleece and velour styles remaining perennial bestsellers; a top single client's peak-season annual purchase reaches 700,000–800,000 yuan.
Lingdong Knitwear, focused on mid-to-high-end gloves, saw its half-velvet gloves become a phenomenon hit with more than 100,000 pairs sold in five months; Spain showed particularly strong demand, with a single client's annual purchase at 200,000 yuan. Qunxin's earmuff-scarf line carved a differentiated niche with cute animal-shaped designs, its hit rabbit-fur 3D ear product reaching a daily output of over 20,000 units at peak, winning overseas supermarket and brand-authorization orders.
