At the 2026 Bund Conference (September 9-12), more than 40 embodied intelligence vendors showcased progress from "generation" to "execution." A robot at Sudo Technology demonstrated grasping across different objects, lighting, and surfaces without reconfiguration, powered by a self-developed simulation platform generating millions of scenarios. Xu Huazhe, founder of Pokee Robotics and assistant professor at Tsinghua, said true "generalization" -- one model handling varied tasks across scenes -- should be visible at scale this year, though robots entering homes still require long-term work on commerce, ethics, and regulation. Ant Group CEO Han Xinyi emphasized that the AI economy must move from cost reduction to value creation. Experts noted that as agent technology evolves, IT systems are shifting from intelligent systems to an agent economy that will drive deeper changes in industrial and enterprise structures.
