National First Industry-Trade Coordination Model Base Approved in Yiwu

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially approved the "Work Plan for Supporting Yiwu to Build a National Industry-Trade Coordination Model Base," making Yiwu the site of China's first such base. Under the plan, Yiwu will take the lead in three institutional reforms: establishing a cultivation mechanism for new-type industry-trade integrated enterprises, building a cross-regional coordinated development benefit-sharing mechanism, and setting up a multi-dimensional industrial export monitoring and coordination mechanism with a national industrial export monitoring point. The reform has already taken substantive steps, with 87 plots of industrial land marketized this year, 30 of them won by market merchants. The goal is to form a batch of replicable institutional achievements by 2030.
