In a September 14 report, People's Public Security Daily highlighted how Jinhua, Zhejiang—home to the "world's small-commodity capital" Yiwu and the "hardware capital" Yongkang—is safeguarding local enterprises' overseas expansion.
Jinhua's exit-entry police formed an "Eight-Wu Overseas Navigator" team, building a service ledger for leading, specialty and emerging enterprises, offering expedited and "green channel" services for overseas exhibitions, cross-border work and talent recruitment. Since the start of the year, Yiwu's Global Digital Trade Center commercial-service window alone has served over 2,000 people.
Relying on its international-trade early-warning platform, Yiwu police built a closed-loop protection system that has prevented 436 major contract-fraud cases and recovered 710 million yuan; credit governance covers over 26,000 foreign-trade entities and has driven 504 firms to pay 110 million yuan in outstanding payments.
Yongkang police, serving more than 30,000 hardware manufacturers with annual exports above 50 billion yuan, provide front-end governance and precise services through a dedicated studio.
