On September 9, 2026, JD.com announced its "Super AI Supply Chain" strategy at the 2026 JD Global Tech Explorer Conference. The company plans to build the world's largest physical-world operations center powered by AI.
JD Cloud will jointly build a 100,000-card domestic intelligent computing cluster with Moore Threads, with JD's self-developed JoyScale AI computing platform supporting Ascend, Cambricon and Moore Threads chips. This marks the first time domestic GPUs have entered a leading cloud vendor's 100,000-card core cluster.
JD also released the JoyAI world model and announced a plan to collect 10 million hours of embodied intelligence data. The company said AI has already been applied across more than 3,000 business scenarios.
The move highlights how Chinese tech giants are combining physical industry scenarios with domestic AI infrastructure.
