Yiwu, September 9, 2026 — Yiwu's international trade comprehensive service platform, Chinagoods, now has more than 17.02 million listed products, serves 60,000 merchants and has more than 5.5 million registered buyers, according to data cited by Southern Weekly.
The platform, launched in 2020, has been pivotal in moving Yiwu's vast offline market resources online, connecting tens of thousands of merchants with global procurement clients. The latest product, the "World Yiwu" commerce large model, supports AI-generated multilingual short videos for stallholders.
In 2025, Yiwu hosted 1.22 million live-streaming sales sessions, generating RMB 85.66 billion in retail sales — up from 183,300 sessions and RMB 20.70 billion five years earlier.
Yiwu opened its "sixth-generation" Global Digital Trade Center in October 2025, reflecting how the city's market has evolved from a physical space into a digital ecosystem spanning live-streaming, AI-generated marketing content and global e-commerce platforms.
