The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), running September 9-13 in Beijing, features over 200 new products and solutions, with digital and intelligent technologies as the dominant theme across all exhibition areas.
Meituan showcased its AI agent platform "CatPaw," which covers store evaluation diagnostics, marketing material design, and business data analysis. The AI business assistant "Smart Manager" already serves over 1 million dine-in restaurant merchants nationwide, solving 7.8 million merchant problems. The "Xiaotuan" AI assistant has covered 12 categories of local life needs, responding to over 700 million user requests.
JD.com demonstrated its comprehensive AI technical service capabilities across data, models, hardware, and industry ecosystems. The company plans to collect 10 million hours of quality data within two years from its retail, logistics, industrial, health, food delivery, and domestic service scenarios, and will establish over 80 RoboBase robot bases nationwide over five years.
The fair also featured multiple humanoid robots, including a robot dressed in traditional Chinese attire that can explain artifacts with over 30 facial expressions, and Meituan's "Yellow Hornet" indoor and outdoor autonomous delivery robot, which has been piloted at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport with over 55,000 delivery orders completed.
