On September 10, 2026, reports showed that the Yiwu Cross-Border Express Supervision Center recorded cumulative export value of USD 450 million in the first eight months of 2026, more than double the total for the entire previous year. The center now processes nearly 10,000 cross-border parcels per day to over 30 countries and regions worldwide.
The parcel pickup cycle has been compressed from two to three days to just one day. This achievement is backed by a "manifest plus customs declaration" model combined with an "inspection before loading" consolidation approach, which integrates cross-border e-commerce, general trade, and market-purchased goods into the same container, saving approximately 500 RMB per container.
Yiwu is transforming its small commodities export logistics from price competition to time-efficiency and consolidation efficiency competition. The daily processing capacity of nearly 10,000 parcels enables buyers in over 30 countries to receive Yiwu goods faster.
The systematic process re-engineering, guided by Yiwu Customs, includes TIR road transport for cross-customs operations, land-air intermodal connections to surrounding airports, and sea-rail transit linking to seaports.
