China's open-source large models have surpassed 10 billion cumulative global downloads, and the national AI open-source community has gathered more than 11 million users, China Women's News and China Youth Daily reported on November 3, on the eve of the Wuzhen summit.
Behind the numbers is the vigorous growth of an open-source ecosystem and a vivid practice of win-win cooperation. The summit, themed "Open Source, Open Access, Co-Build and Share," will host an "AI Wuzhen Dialogue," build the country's first open-source themed experience pavilion, and hold a "Major Open-Source AI Achievements Exhibition" to help all parties strengthen dialogue and build consensus.
Commentators said open source is the sincerest statement of the digital era, and China's open-source AI practice is contributing to global prosperity through accessible, collaborative technology.
