On November 2, the "Light of Internet" expo — which opened ahead of the Wuzhen summit — turned embodied-intelligence robots into a new gateway for perceiving the intelligent world, Guangming Daily and People's Daily Online reported on November 3. More than 30 embodied robots from Zhiyuan, UBTECH, Unitree and others interacted with visitors, with the world's first bipedal humanoid that can autonomously play badminton — also trained in table tennis — becoming a focal point.
The expo, themed "Intelligent Interconnection, Seeing the Future," set six zones — new connections, new spaces, new entry points, new ecosystems, new life and new security — with 671 organizations from 54 countries and regions exhibiting more than 1,000 new technologies and products spanning satellite internet, quantum communication, 6G, agents, large models, embodied intelligence and cyber governance.
Ahead of the summit, DeepSeek announced it will further fully open-source its internal inference framework and simultaneously release codec components — a concrete practice by a Chinese AI firm to make large models broadly accessible.
