Educational toys held at 100.17 with steady export orders of wooden kaleidoscopes and spinning tops to the Middle East, Africa and South America; earring jewelry edged up to 99.86 with feather and cat's-eye styles popular abroad; the specialist crafts index at 105.67 saw Christmas hangings and stickers still shipping, with ordering heat lasting into early next month.
Towels rose to 114.66, with mid-to-low-end microfiber and woven cotton towels mainly exported to Africa and the Middle East and high-quality pure cotton towels to the US and Japan; home textiles ticked up to 99.55, with lightweight curtains, tablecloths and floor mats favored by foreign buyers in Southeast Asia.
