On Oct. 28, the 2026 Yiwu Trade Conference core sub-forum, the Yiwu Small Commodities City AI Ecosystem Conference and 'World Yiwu' AI Innovation Contest awards, highlighted how artificial intelligence is entering multiple links of small-commodity trade.
Thirteen technology companies received the 'World Yiwu AI Pioneer Award,' 20 market operators won the 'World Yiwu AI Navigator Award,' and 33 AI commerce application cases were showcased, from product design and overseas marketing to translation and customer acquisition.
Yiwu's AI commerce model, online for three years, has expanded from single tools to multi-link coordination, covering design, trade communication and global marketing. Multilingual AI marketing videos, AI translation and AI design tools are helping merchants cut costs.
The conference also launched 'World Yiwu' AI ecosystem building, with plans to fold mature AI capabilities into the 'World Yiwu' app, iterating lightweight, low-cost and easy-to-use products for merchants.
