Tencent released the official version of its next-generation large model Hunyuan Hy4 on November 4. Scaling from under 300B in the Hy3 series to 770B, Hy4 introduces vision understanding for the first time and supports computer use - combining command lines and graphical interfaces to handle long-horizon tasks.
Tencent said Hy4 ranks among the strongest open-source models and will open its weights soon, already available on Tencent Cloud, OpenRouter and Yuanbao. The model's measured hallucination rate dropped from 15.76% to 5.45%, marking a step from "benchmark chasing" to "trustworthy deployment."
