SHENZHEN, July 16, 2026 - At the 2026 Huawei Qiankun Media Day, Jin Yuzhi, CEO of Yinwang Company, announced that Huawei's Qiankun intelligent driving system has surpassed 1.9 million total installations, with projections to exceed 2 million by the end of August 2026. The HarmonyOS cockpit system is expected to reach the same milestone simultaneously.
The growth trajectory is remarkable: the first 1 million installations took 44 months, while the second 1 million is projected to take just 12 months. Huawei Qiankun has partnered with over 25 automotive brands across more than 50 vehicle models, including Audi's A6L and A5L which feature Qiankun ADS on both fuel and electric platforms. The system's annual R&D investment exceeds 18 billion yuan.
According to MIIT data, the market penetration rate of passenger vehicles equipped with combined driver assistance functions reached 70% in 2026, with Navigation on Autopilot (NOA) equipped models exceeding 30%. Huawei's ADS 5.0 system features 896-line LiDAR and has received Beijing's L3 autonomous driving certification. The Fangchengbao Titan 7, equipped with Huawei's intelligent driving system, delivered 41,213 units in July, up 190.6% YoY.
