HONG KONG, June 18, 2026 - Zhipu (HK2513) closed up 26% at HK$2,094, hitting a record high, with its market cap surpassing HK$930 billion. The stock has risen more than 18 times since its listing. The catalyst was the open-source release of GLM-5.2 on June 17.
GLM-5.2 is a flagship text-code model officially released by Zhipu AI on June 13, 2026. It supports 1 million token lossless context, strengthens coding capabilities, and achieves Day 0 adaptation to domestic computing platforms. On the Artificial Analysis comprehensive leaderboard, GLM-5.2 scored 51 points, ranking first among domestic models.
Zhipu listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange main board on January 8, 2026, with an issue price of HK$116.2 and an opening market cap of approximately HK$52.8 billion. This marks the first listed company globally with a general artificial intelligence (AGI) base model as its core business.
