On November 5, Avatr Technology vice president Yong Jun wrote on social media that some online voices had recently spread negative rumors about the brand. Responding to claims that the 07L Max, priced at 215,900 yuan, must be cutting corners in unseen places, he said: "Avatr will not play tricks, and it is impossible for us to cut corners on vehicle quality."
Yong acknowledged the brand's marketing shortcomings and said the team would seriously improve, but firmly rejected the quality accusations. His remarks came as Avatr pushes to strengthen its product competitiveness and directly addressed market skepticism about low prices implying reduced quality.
