Changan Automobile said on November 5 that its first coating vision-AI glue-application robot has gone online at the Liangjiang plant, according to the company's official account. The team introduced an AI vision platform and built a large-model inspection system based on a deep convolutional neural network.
After repeated point alignment, trajectory debugging and glue-bead verification, the robot overcame process pain points such as point offset, uneven gluing and incomplete corner coverage, continuously correcting robotic coordinates and optimizing tool posture and travel paths. Through visual auto-recognition, the robot now achieves precise position identification, marking a step in Changan's smart-manufacturing upgrade.
