As a key window for China-Africa trade, Yiwu is deepening economic ties with Africa through its market, logistics, cross-border e-commerce and overseas-warehouse advantages. In the first nine months of 2026, Yiwu's exports to Africa reached 135.903 billion yuan, up 30.18% year on year, with Africa trade exceeding 130 billion yuan.
Yiwu has built 210 overseas warehouses around the world under its own or franchise model, 28 of them in Africa across 12 countries including South Africa, Kenya and Rwanda. These warehouses are evolving from simple storage into showrooms, distribution and after-sales hubs that shorten the distance between Chinese supply and African consumers.
