The pure-electric version of the Denza N9 has been declared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 413th batch of road-vehicle manufacturers and product announcements. Positioned as a large SUV, the model carries a tri-motor drive system with a combined peak output of 890 kW and is matched with a lithium iron phosphate battery.
The declaration underscores BYD's push to extend the Denza flagship beyond extended-range and plug-in hybrids into high-performance battery-electric territory.
