A regular at the Yiwu Fair, Huolang Xiansheng returned with a new image and new products, and with its domestic brand stores surpassing 1,000, the retailer is turning its attention abroad, CNR reported. The company has signed agreements with Uzbekistan, Cambodia and other countries, and its first overseas store exceeding 3,000 square meters is planned to open in December, bringing more quality Chinese-made goods to households abroad.
"Currently we have signed with Uzbekistan, Cambodia and several other countries, and the first overseas store of over 3,000 square meters is planned to open in December," said exhibition manager Jiang Zhirong, noting that more quality Chinese manufacturing will reach foreign households through Huolang Xiansheng.
The move reflects a broader trend at this year's fair, where the "Brand-Going-Global" zone showcases Yiwu Selection's overseas-showroom bestsellers validated by terminal markets, letting buyers precisely match Yiwu source goods with proven brands. The fair added foreign-trade-quality-product and brand-export zones to amplify export empowerment.
From OEM to branded retail, Yiwu merchants are climbing the value chain — combining supply-chain depth with brand building to capture margin and customer loyalty in overseas markets.
