The 2026 Inclusion Bund Conference, held September 9-12 at the Shanghai Huangpu Expo Park, gathered over 300 exhibiting companies in a 15,000-square-meter technology exhibition area. Under the theme "Co-creating AI New Economy," the conference demonstrated how AI has moved beyond concepts into real commercial, industrial, and daily life applications.
Over 40 embodied intelligence companies were showcased, with robots demonstrating practical capabilities including autonomous drug dispensing in retail pharmacies, bolt tightening in manufacturing, and tumor diagnosis assistance in healthcare. Ant Group's Lingbo universal brain-powered robot has been deployed in Shanghai Guoda Pharmacy, autonomously handling order reception, drug identification, sorting, and delivery in 80-centimeter-wide aisles.
DAMO Academy's plain CT plus AI screening technology, which can detect five types of cancer in a single scan, has been deployed in multiple hospitals including Lishui Central Hospital. In less than a year, it has screened over 100,000 images and confirmed over 900 cases.
The conference also featured a hyper-realistic bionic robot "Spirit Xuan 2.0" that can perform over 100 emotion combinations with its integrated smart driving units and bionic skin materials, and Fudan University's embodied large model-powered wheeled dual-arm robot capable of identifying and tightening washing machine bolts.
