As of August 31, 2026, the Yiwu Cross-Border Express Supervision Center recorded cumulative export value of USD 450 million for 2026, more than double the total for the entire previous year.
The center, operated by Yiwu International Land Port Group, processes nearly 10,000 cross-border parcels per day to more than 30 countries. Pickup cycles have been compressed from two to three days to one day, and truck queuing times have been reduced by nearly half.
Behind the growth is comprehensive upgrading of Yiwu's cross-border logistics in speed, model, and service. Leveraging a "cross-border manifest + customs declaration" model combined with an "inspection before loading" digital consolidation approach, cross-border e-commerce, general trade, and market-purchased goods can be shipped in the same container, saving approximately RMB 500 per container.
The transformation is the result of systematic process re-engineering at the supervision center, guided by Yiwu Customs. TIR road transport enables cross-customs "arrive-inspect-release" operations, while land-air intermodal connections link to surrounding airports and sea-rail transit opens seaports for enterprises.
