At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Xiaomi emerged as a major highlight, showcasing what it described as the world's first full-scenario Physical AI ecosystem across smartphones, smart home devices, and electric vehicles. With approximately 900 Chinese companies among the 1,900 exhibitors at IFA 2026 -- nearly half the total -- Xiaomi occupied a 3,300 square meter booth demonstrating its human-car-home integrated AI platform. Live demonstrations included a scenario where the user's vehicle and home environment communicated to pre-adjust the thermostat as the user drove home, and cross-device task execution through voice commands. IFA CEO Laif Lindner noted that AI is no longer a product category or marketing slogan but is evolving into the foundational infrastructure supporting all devices and services. Industry observers noted that Chinese technology companies, leveraging supply chain depth and rapid engineering capabilities, are reshaping the underlying logic of consumer electronics hardware innovation globally.
