On September 1, 2026, BYD Semiconductor announced the launch of a new satellite-architecture 4D millimeter-wave radar chip powered by the Xuanji A3 computing platform. The self-developed chip features a MIPI CSI-2 high-speed interface compatible with mainstream SerDes (serial-deserializer) chips and can seamlessly connect to multiple mainstream intelligent driving chip platforms. Based on 28nm mature automotive-grade process technology, the chip is specifically designed to meet the automotive market's demand for high-resolution radar systems. This launch represents an important step for BYD Semiconductor in completing its intelligent driving perception product matrix and deepening its automotive-grade chip layout, laying the foundation for a comprehensive intelligent perception ecosystem.
