BYD has launched the third-generation Qin PLUS DM-i in three trims offering 140 km and 220 km pure-electric ranges, with a limited 'super value' price of 76,900 to 97,900 yuan.
The new model sets a class-low power-deprived fuel consumption of 2.58 L/100 km and extends combined full-tank full-charge range beyond 2,290 km. Pure-electric range rises to a class-leading 220 km for plug-in hybrids.
Buyers can opt for the God's Eye B laser-assisted driving version and God's Eye 5.0, paired with the upgraded DiLink 150 cabin running a redesigned system UI.
BYD positions the upgrade as raising the entry threshold for family sedans across space, range, fuel economy, intelligence and safety.
