Yiwu's Christmas-goods exports totaled 4.75 billion yuan in the first eight months of 2026, up 10.9% year on year, shipping to more than 170 countries and regions, the November 4 Foreign Trade Morning Brief reported, citing customs data. The steady growth shows the seasonal category remains a resilient pillar of the city's export mix.
The figure arrives as the global holiday-supply season wraps up its main shipping window; Yiwu's dense network of ornament, lighting and festive-decoration suppliers continues to capture demand from Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa through both traditional trade and cross-border channels.
The stable double-digit gain, despite a maturing market and shifting overseas logistics costs, highlights how Yiwu's small-commodity cluster converts seasonal demand into dependable export value year after year.
