Yiwu will run more than 50 free offline sharing sessions, operational workshops and AI product-basics courses in November across cross-border e-commerce, AI application and live-streaming e-commerce, the Yiwu Convergence Media reported on November 4, citing the city's market-development committee.
The events are open to the public and aim to equip local business operators with practical digital-trade skills. As the market's merchant base gets younger and more brand- and IP-savvy, the training push reflects a city-level effort to lower the barrier for small and micro enterprises to join global commerce through digital tools.
Yiwu has been weaving artificial intelligence into product design, marketing and supply-demand matching via the Chinagoods platform and the "World Yiwu" trade large model, and the new training program extends that momentum from large merchants to the broader small-commodity community.
