On October 29, the "2026 Embodied Intelligence Industry Innovation Report," co-authored by Xinhua's China Economic Information Service and the Shanghai ICIC of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, was released in Shanghai, International Finance News reported. It maps China's embodied-intelligence landscape via an "XYZ curve" and a "three-intelligence-in-one" framework.
The report defines an X-curve "development-tasting" phase — global large models iterated fast, bodies gained basic motion, used in research or entertainment — during which China's humanoid-robot整机 makers surpassed 140 and launched 330 products by end-2025. From 2026 the industry enters the Y-curve "deployment state," moving from demos to factories, stores and real scenarios; for example AGIBOT operated continuously for over 64 hours across six days on Longqi's line, completing nearly 65,000 operations with a composite success rate steady at 99.99%. A Z-curve phase is expected around 2030, when capability may surpass humans and unlock trillion-yuan market potential.
The report positions embodied intelligence as a key carrier taking AI from the digital world into the physical world and a lever for new-quality productive forces.
