AGIBOT Innovation Day was held in Shanghai on October 29, drawing over a thousand research partners, developers and commercial partners from around the world, China News Service reported. The event centered on the "deployment state" of embodied intelligence, with the company disclosing that its cumulative general-purpose AI robot output had reached 20,000 units, its global humanoid-robot market share stood at 43%, and first-half 2026 revenue approached 2 billion yuan. AGIBOT also open-sourced and donated its Lingqu OS 1.0 to the OpenAtom Foundation.
Overseas attendees were searching for robot "coworkers" they could take home. A Czech engineer conversed with a Chinese embodied-intelligence robot in Czech and tested its offline operation; a Spanish renewable-energy worker saw wildfire-response potential; and a German founder said his company has been introducing Chinese embodied robots into the German market since early this year, negotiating with automotive, healthcare and chemical firms. AGIBOT co-founder and CTO Peng Zhihui said the industry cares more about whether robots can keep running in real environments and reduce integration and maintenance costs.
The gathering highlights China's embodied-intelligence sector moving from demos toward real-world, cross-border deployment.
