Following the close of the 32nd China Yiwu International Small Commodities Fair, many overseas buyers shifted to the Yiwu International Trade City and the Global Trade Center for in-person inspection and price comparison, covering categories such as accessory parts, daily necessities, decompression toys and smart small appliances, Yiwu Business Daily reported on October 28. A Yemeni buyer said he deliberately stayed three extra days to verify samples.
Local officials described a continuing "fair draws the traffic, market closes the deals" linkage. Exhibitors are advised to follow up with post-fair buyers on sample pricing and small trial orders, quickly converting fair inquiries into market transactions.
The pattern reflects Yiwu's year-round advantage as a "world supermarket," where a major exhibition feeds sustained sourcing activity across its sprawling market and digital trade platforms.
