Several Chinese automakers launched or opened pre-sales for new models on October 29, Cailian Press reported in its October 30 auto morning brief. XPeng rolled out the MONA L05, an AI-smart fashionable five-seat SUV positioned at a limited-time starting price of 139,800 yuan, equipped with the second-generation Turing VLA intelligent-driving model, up to 1,500 TOPS of computing on the Ultra-SE version, and a pure-electric CLTC range of up to 635 km with a comprehensive 1,310 km in range-extender form.
IM Motors began pre-sales of the LS8 NEO pure-electric flagship SUV from 249,800 yuan, built jointly with CATL and featuring standard CATL batteries, a full line-controlled chassis and physical-AI intelligence. Avatr launched the 07L Max pure-electric version at a limited-time price of 215,900 yuan, integrating Huawei's HarmonySpace 5 cockpit and Qiankun ADS 5 with an 896-line LiDAR and a CLTC range of 725 km.
The clustered launches show high-level intelligent driving and large cabin spaces being pushed down into the 140,000–250,000 yuan segment, intensifying competition in the family SUV market.
