On October 28, Yanfeng International, a unit of Huayu Automotive, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the National Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, People's Finance reported on October 29. The two parties will build a scenario data center and an embodied-intelligence training demonstration site for the automotive industry as the core of their collaboration.
Cooperation will span data-platform construction, training-demonstration-site building, vertical-scenario solution development, and joint industry-standard setting, with the aim of driving the scaled deployment of embodied-intelligence technology in automotive manufacturing. The effort reflects how traditional Tier-1 suppliers are moving to embed physical-world AI — combining robotic bodies with autonomous decision-making — directly into production lines and factory operations.
The agreement signals deepening convergence between the automotive supply chain and the embodied-intelligence sector in China.
